It would be a fitting tribute if the Champion was awarded the "Mickey Thompson" trophy.

+1000. Excellent Idea!

Absolutely Perfect !!!!!

The trophy is on this link. Not sure if they chose the MT trophy though http://atv.off-road.com/competition/race/robby-gordon-announces-sta...

Oh hell yeah, I'd hope thats almost a given.

Nother cool idea would be have 2 legends of the sport do a 1 on 1 race at each event . Just think Ivan vs Walker , Rob Mac vs Robby , Thompson vs Mears
AH THE GOOD OLE DAYS .

According to Sporting News, they'll use street legal tires. Interesting...

The trucks will have 600 horsepower V-8 engines with 20 inches of wheel travel while racing on DOT-approved tires that can be purchased for passenger vehicles.

It sounds like this has been very well thought out. I love the fact the ALL sponsors are welcome, along with tire manufactures. I can only hope that they can get some great venues booked, the public gets excited and drops some coin to watch a great show.

I will say that having USAC on board, to me, is a big deal! They seem to do sprint cars right. Having that expertise is huge for adding validity to the series.

I just hope there isn't a conflict of interest . Doesn't USAC also help with either TORC or LOORRS ?
Im sportsmans class this usac what is it.
