STAGE 3 TRACKING

STAGE 3: San Rafael > San Juan

Connection 291km | Special Stage 208 | Total 499km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Andes Cordillera, ever-present throughout the 2012 Dakar, is very demanding for the drivers. The crossing of rivers and the many holes and stones that the drivers will have to avoid during the day's special stage, will make the terrain particularly gruelling. The sturdiness of the engines will be put to the test if the drivers do not remain attentive. But the altitude and the reliefs provide both magnificent landscapes, with every shade of red possible, and small acrobatic challenges, such as a steep climb that the motorcyclists will definitely have to finish in first gear.

Sorry I will try but some peoples arrogance causes me to slip at times.

So far it looks like the Mini's are down to 4

Leal Dos Santos still not in.

Dang where did everyone go?

chat?

"To not fail is to succeed in not failing, no gains are a loss" Found scrolled on the cave wall of a true competitor. Great to see the team maintaining its contact with the top grouping. Nasser doing the chipping away but at this pace he will soon be the rabbit they are all chasing...................perhaps even our own man Robby
Gas On

can't watch video at work can someone post what was said in the interview's

Nasser said he was happy with the car, the lost a little power in the mountains, but everything was good. Robby said he was conservative as to not get a puncture, but he was happy too.

Thanks, same here. No vids at work.

Thank you Vlad you really made me glad

Two to three more day's till they have access to the other support truck? really hope it doesn't cause an issue, maybe having to be conservative is a good thing helping to keep them on the road and keeping the rubber side down. Enjoying this side of Robby maybe just my impression but he seems to have really matured as an owner and driver. A long way to go yet but the future looks bright! Hang in there Nasser you'll get your spares soon and you'll be able to let it hang out there a little farther!! Gas On! Boys!!!

It still amazes me how many competitors are dropped in the opening days of the rally.
