I really like what RGM is doing with Johnny Sauter and Scott Wimmer running the cars. Johnny is an aggressive racer much like RG who has been pretty badass in the trucks and Wimmer has had plenty of COT experience testing for RCR. I wouldn't be surprised if Wimmer ran better this week than Robby has all year on this type of track.
Since there isn't a bull run thread yet, is this anything like the bull run on speed channel.

And. I read somewhere there can be no energy drink sponsors.
Agree About Wimmer and Johnny . Besides RG Theres no one I like more than Johnny , Watch HIM run trucks drives hard every lap , and like a 80 % of the time a top ten Finish . Looking forward to ALL the Racing !
Not that it matters one iota what I think....but, I'm really starting to like the way this SPEED deal is shaping up. There is a post about a short course sponsorship, Bull Run activity, Dakar, Nascar, SCORE, what's next?

Taking some eggs OUT of the Nascar basket just makes sense. Viewership is declining, many sponsors are pulling out and the cost / benefit equation just seems off kilter. (based on recent sponsor moves)

The idea of running the hummer..er Jeep in the Bull Run is sure to generate interest in the Dakar / SCORE events.

I don't have any idea how much it costs to run some of the Rally races - but that sure would be fun to watch.
Will we see a Speed Car in the Daytona Prototypes or ALMS series?
almost an hour into practice and neither car has been on the track! Whats up?
O.K. an hour and 13 minutes and no cars Now lets get those cars on the track or there will be hell to pay Mr. Surprice!!!
Today is the 'special test session', did RGM schedule to even participate?
Mike are you Mr. Suprise?
No, I do have an idea. And YES it will be a suprise!
Looks like the 7 just made it's first laps. Only made 2 laps so probably just a shakedown run.
today's session is 6hr's long and only one car per team, unless testing a car fitted with FI.
