My Robby Gordon Experience at Fontana 10-11-09

Just wanted to share my RGM experience from the race this past weekend:

PlanetRobby Fan Club Meets in 'Dega!

The PlanetRobby fan club held another one of its meetings in Talladega, AL. The usual suspects were in attendance (Ms. Gibby, Path, Mouse and Sarah). The meeting was held at the Montana Saloon and Grill located on I-77, 2 miles from the track.

The members enjoyed a lovely meal before some indulged in Jim Beam Black.

Path made sure to guard the car before Robby got there.…

The first indycar race

This was the first indycar race that Robby did. The Detroit GP in 1992 for Team Ganassi. He was running good in the top 10-15 but ended up with a DNF. He raced 3 more times that year before getting hired by A.J. Foyt to race the full 1993 season.

Reasons why Robby should go to Montreal.

Last year many of us witnessed a tragedy. Our boy Robby was about to win his first Nascar race of any kind since 2004. That seemed likely to occur until he was spun under yellow by the #59 Ford of Marcos Ambrose.
