kirk will be the CC in 2009. ( aka Robby! lol )
Thanks TOG for the info... got any other info you care to share?? (I never could wait for my Christmas presents when I was a kid.. I was always able to convince Mom & Dad to let me open one early...!)
Thanks TOG, that's good news. I thought Kirk did a great job
for how many races though? my guess would be 12 lol
as long as Walter isn't returning I'm happy.
have some faith people..I know it's hard but try
Jayski's Pit crew charts have several errors, so I definitely would not read anything into a ?
Robby ran just as well if not better with himself and Kirk calling the shots, so no need to pay a primadonna overrated crew chief top dollar for the same results. At the end of the day the driver is still the same, and I don't see Robbys driving style change anytime soon. Alot of bad finishes were the result of bad luck, not setup issues, etc.Robby will probably still struggle on the tracks he has always struggled on,Bristol,Martinsville,Richmond(post2005). All the other tracks he has shown signs of improvement, and if he can qualify better( beating the dead horse, I know ) on a CONSISTENT basis, he will have a very good year in 2009, even if Ray Charles was calling the shots.
Considering Ray Charles is dead, that would save some money on the bills. I agree with you that Kirk fits Robby's style.
I think its silly to assume that a quality CC can't improve a drivers performance when there is a functional relationship. Todd Parrott made DJ a Cup Champion. Dale freakin Jarrett.
He also made Travis Kvapil look good last year. Travis freakin' Kvapil! Parrot's good.
Todd is gold!
