STAGE 3 TRACKING

STAGE 3: TERMAS DE RIO HONDO > SAN SALVADOR DE JUJUY

Connection 349km | Special Stage 314km | Total 663km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The format is tighter for the day’s race against the clock... as are the mountain tracks featuring in the special section. Experts in sliding and on the road will be able to showcase their skills here, as long as they stay constantly focused. Those hunting down the leaders will be on high alert during this route, which has been designed for opportunists. But the programme could also be transformed by any rain: even the strongest competitors do not necessarily perform well on heavy ground.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Not really, Sainz up from 14 at start to 7 and then 2nd

wp4 or wp5

I'm sorry, I know this is only stage 3 but I really have a hard time believing the Pugs have become that much better in only there 2nd Dakar! just my 2 cents

is good to be French, in a race run by the French

In a vehicle built by French!

hmmmm i think i see a pattern...... lol

Pug must have done a ton of R&D since last year, huge budget??

Peterhansel commented that they have more power which to me says the ASO gave them a performance increase!

They were very competitive in last year's mid-year races. I believe they won a race in China.

Chat sure does seem to make it more fun here!!

is chat working?

wow Sheldon poured it on - P24
