STAGE 2 TRACKING

STAGE 2: SAN LUIS > SAN RAFAEL

Connection 365km | Special Stage 433km | Total 798km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The fastest special stage of the rally, at least for its first part, will also be the one where drivers will have to face the first dunes. And it won’t just be a brief encounter with sand: in the last 100 kilometres, the exploration of the grey dunes of Nihuil will be even more intensive than during previous visits. The sand is more firm there, but the experience will provide a great deal of insight about each of the competitors’ technical skills. In short it will be a veritable test.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Come Michael you and I both know we gotta go thru 20 years of heartbreak for 4 straight Super Bowl appearances lol . Were in the same deal w Robby lol .

Is this possible or is the Dakar site's timing a complete mess

He is from Argentina, maybe he knew a shortcut. Hahahaha

if he did not take a short cut that is really impressive

Robert you meen 1 min 40 sec

it actually shows 1 hr 41 min 5 sec - from a driver who started 146th - right

The live timing from the Dakar site shows 16 cars in at the end of stage 2 with Miguel Angel Reginato completing the timed section in 2 hrs 11 minutes to Peters 3 hrs 52 minutes---it must be a mistake

wow a local handed Peterhugger a butt whipping

That was on Eurosport tv Chanel, but I mean that the european version is not the same as web's one. Maybe the video is posted yet on the web

It was a mistake, the argentinian is gone now

Considering he had won by an hour and a half. Maybe they are getting the CP1 links working. :P
