Not my find. The guy that shot the photo has posted 100's of photos of the cars and support trucks at the port in France. http://buzzybeeforum.nl/viewtopic.php?f=376&t=44689

If you download the photo of RG's trailers and then enlarge it the image has the same lines as the front group and cab of the "test mule." So that leads me to believe that the "test mule" is testing the body work for the real 2014 Dakar car. When I first saw the "test mule" I felt it was an SUV of sorts without the rear body section. If it was a pick up cap the rear would have been finished off and it isn't. It looks like there is a divider, but not the finished off cab of a pick up.

I see planetrobby.com on the back of the trailer.

Cool to see Planetrobby getting some love!

What a great find... It's like walking around at the dock. All that's missing are the engine noises as they move things around. This reminds me of the time Robbies transport freighter broke down on the way to France just before they had to cancel, back in the Africa days. Found this flash back interview Autosport Feb 08

I remember this, what a great interview as ever from Robby, less so the circumstances. As ever, our man survives to fight another day.

Where was this taken?

The port in France where the ship is loaded to go to South America

Kinda reminds me of the old VW Tourareg TT .
That is awesome to see Planetrobby.com on the back of the trailer. That is great for the site, as well as helping people to know more by visiting .....well done TOG

They must like Robby's stuff. 28 pics in all

What is the tow rig for the trailer?

International MXT 4x4
