Ugh AJ Failed Drug Test

I'm bummed about this.

Well well , you just never know these days. A least kurt was clean. Is it worce to be a hot head or a drug user. Never likied aj anyway.

Maybe things are not going great for Aj and he has resorted to drugs or could it be that test A was incorrectly tested? I just don't see him being a person on drugs knowing the implications it can cause to his career, but I'd like to see that it was just tested wrong and the B test will come back negative.

Guess it's just a matter of waiting and seeing how it plays out for Aj.

With our drug screening, test A and B are from the same sample. Aj will probably have a statement Monday. Then we get to hear his side.

Today is Tuesday. It was announced last night that AJ & Penske would ask for the B sample to be tested, with their own expert observing.

I've worked in gyms with professional atheletes and professional body builders for a good portion of my 36 years. For athletes its very easy to pass drug tests even though its common knowledge in and around their circle they are dirty. The secret is how they pass. If his B test fails, I'm going to say AJ probably smoked a small amount of weed at a party. Is imagine occasional pot use is somewhat common amongst the drivers.

That's what nailed Randy Lajoie a couple years ago. I remember he issued a statement accepting it right away and moving forward with NASCAR's reinstatement process.

If this is AJs case, I'd suspect he'd have a hard time getting a decent ride with his lack of results on the track.

On the flip side, if he's using hard drugs like amphetamines, I say F him

When I worked in management for AT&T, we would administer random drug tests for about 700 employees per month. You would be surprised at the number of positives you got back initially, which when retested a week later were completely clean. The system isn't fullproof by any measure.

My personal experence, haven't done any drugs for 30 or so years drug test 4-5 years ago came back pos, fired me on spot asked for retest no way hit the road, so who knows?

NA$CAR should have NEVER let out what the infraction was until the very last, after the suspension was permanent. Now even if It was a mistake or a bad test and he is cleared, the dinger's name is connected with drugs!

In my case "they' say was poppy seeds on hot dog bun (love those chicago hot dogs) ate night before test, company record not for rehire, life goes on........
