Robby Gordon was kicked out of the LOORRS race on Friday night ( 4-20-12 ) , because he had a truck with SPEED Energy signage setup at the KarTek booth.

From Gordon Twitter:

I can't believe they kick me out of the Lucas race today. Said I wasn't welcome there. Hmm ok. Well be careful what you wish for.

Just to clear it up. I wasn't racing I brought my prerunner buggy to set up in the KarTek vendor display. They didn't want any SPEED signage

Can't market in anything now a days. I think I have a solution..

Clyde Stacy's ride for the Mexican 1000. Nice.

That is just Cool...

If Rob were to start a series or promote an event or what have you, would you not think it would be open to all vendors? Considering his stance on free market being closed would he not support open market since he seems to have been a target so to speak on more than one occasion for refusal of and or removal to wit his marketing was frowned upon. In short and in around the camp fire fashion "Come one come all, it's time to have a ball"

I think RG needs to support one of the fastest up and coming drivers i.e. Robby Woods. He is fast and consistent and in turn Woods needs to have Robby Gordons truck ready to go so RG can show up and race in 2 Speed energy Pro2's. RG supported Greg Adler a little as a trade off for 4wheel parts. Speed needs to put out a LOORS package to a major Pro 2 or Pro4 team that will race at all the events and stick it to Monster and Rockstar

Rob doesn't go out like that.

I'm sensing kiss my ass folks

He had his Prerunner at a vendor display INSIDE the event area right? If he did not make the appropriate prior arrangements or pay the appropriate fees to be there then the LOORRS organization has every right to kick him out. I would assume like pretty much every other racing event that has vendor areas you have to be approved before hand to have your display setup and it has to be approved what your display has. If KarTek was never approved to have the Prerunner there then LOORRS is in the right on this one.

I've already said Robby needs to hook up with BITD and do his own series , well how bout a lil step further and make the series 1/2 desert 1/2 short course . I could easily see using Trophy Lite Trucks , theyde be great for both the short courses and desert races

Josh, this is not my first race were I have setup my spot on vendor/contingency row. I am the series sponsor for Lucas Oil Regional, and have supported Lucas Oil Offroad since day one for every single event they have ever held. Do you think I did not cover all my bases on this particular event? Please... The fact is, Lucas Oil made a verbal statement that they do not like RG, and thats it. I stressed to LOORS official's that McGrath has his Monster Energy display truck over in the Toyo booth on vendor row as well, and so do the rules apply to everyone..?? Lets just say it is still there.

I'd expect this from NASCRAP but not the offroad community , Why would they throw out one of if not THE most popular guy in offroad racing . That would be like NASCRAP saying they dont like Dale Jr . Short Course needs all the help they can get and having Robby at 1 of they're events only helps put butts in the seats . Needless to say I'm very disappointed with LOORS right now and i'll think twice before i spend my money to support them next time .

So was this from owners level (Forest Lucas) or just some Lucas reps?

@Nick Head, thank you for taking the time to straighten this thread out. I know your busy, thanks bud...
