2012 Las Vegas Race Weekend Info & Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2012 Las Vegas cup race. Robby Gordon will attempt to qualify the #7 into the field on Friday & will drive the car on Sunday. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the Nevada track.

FRIDAY , MARCH 9th

Practice     3:00pm - 4:30 pm/et ( TV - SPEED )
Qualifying   6:30pm - 8:00 pm/et ( TV - SPEED )

SATURDAY , MARCH 10th

Practice       12:30pm/et - 1:25pm/et ( TV - SPEED )
Happy Hour   3:20pm/et - 4:20pm/et (TV -SPEED )

SUNDAY , MARCH 11th

Raceday       3:00 pm/et , greenflag at 3:16 pm/et ( TV - FOX )

Just frustrating, just received another case of SPEED today. I'll keep buying and wearing SPEED swag. On to San Felipe, just had to get it out of my system.

yes it is. Need some speed; no good reason to qualify so poorly most of the time. If S&P is the plan - full focus should be on getting the cars faster. I know money is an issue, but is RGM the poorest team out there? Time to order another case of Speed. Oh well, glad I wasn't watching and will cheer on for a win at San Felipe!

First off I'm a DP fan and I want to see her succeed and this may have been a bit of a pity party but I don't think she has had the demands and expectation on her that she does now and not everybody has an internal motor like say RG, I honestly wonder how many if any of the drivers in this series could maintain the schedual he does and I just use him as an example of the extremes some of the drivers experience and I think the demands on Danica were far more than she has ever had to endure and she let it get to her she has to control that or she is toast in this series. Just my 2 cent's for what that's worth!

Id like her to succeed too, but i doubt she will. She played the "we just need to log miles for experience" bit, in indycar for about 3 years... I wonder how long she will get away with it here

As much as I absolutely detest all the hype, I also hope she does well. While all drivers have a lot on their plate (and I suspect she'll get used to what's on hers) it's hard to imagine anyone being under the sort of microscope she's under.
