Robby and Roger

Last year Robby and Roger Penske had a partnership in which Robby ran there motors. what happened with that wouldn't that be the best thing for dodge because there are on 3 dodges running?

If Robby had the option, I think more than a cup motor he'd rather have a ride in one of Roger's IndyCars for that other 500 race...

Robby Gordon was hoping to strike a deal with fellow Dodge team Penske Racing for an engine after suffering overheating issues in Thursday's Duel. Team Penske president Tim Cindric told SI.com that isn't going to happen.

"Robby came to us and he needed some help and we were willing to do it but with EFI [Electronic Fuel Injection] it's a bit more complicated than dropping a motor in," Cindric said. "We figured out a way to make it happen but it turns out he felt like the problem he was having they found the answer to it so he is going to run what he has at this time."

By reading that statement, I guess there is still time for Robby to change an engine if he has to but he needs to get out in Practice early on and see if they have the engine problem fixed or not in my opinion. That way he can get it changed and maybe still get some practice laps in on it.

Just don't see how all of a sudden you can find an issue at the last moment in engine that finds you speed, but I'm assuming that they found and fixed a problem that will keep from running hot? I would like to see him run some laps in practice though!
