Robby and Roger

Last year Robby and Roger Penske had a partnership in which Robby ran there motors. what happened with that wouldn't that be the best thing for dodge because there are on 3 dodges running?

If Robby can't get a Penske motor we should not fret look what happened today " LUCK " pure luck, it was looking bad and then Luck stepped in , it could happen again.

YUP.
Thats right. But I also heard him say he couldn't run with the leaders without overheating, that's not an engine problem but a cooling pack issue. I am just hoping he runs well with or without penske power. Maybe better fix the cooling issue. Just one dumb ass opinion.

We also heard throughout the second duel that HMS engines were running at 290 in and out of the draft. It was a couple degrees warmer for the second duel, but the overheating issue may be more indicative of a problem with the current rules package than a problem with RGM's motor package.

This point should not be overlooked. The engineers can utilize today's race to make necessary improvements to RG's motors. Today was a great learning experience for RGM's engine department.

That it did, but we'd be idiots to say they are as good as Penske.....If they were, why would RG be scrambling to get a Penske under the hood?

with only 3 dodges in the race..........I would think that RGM might get a little help from Dodge....me thinking and reality are worlds apart, but I could see Dodge helping to convince Rodger to pull an engine out of one of his backups and maybe throw a few bucks in for RG.........just happy the team made the show.

look at it this way nascar put all the teams in a tight box this year with the grill opening and cooling system and rob was not the only car running hot. Even BK was nursing his penske motor. But regardless Robby MADE IT IN !

I think come tomorrow all this worrying will be for naught as the #7 will have a Penske powerplant in it.

I strongly disagree with you TOG!!That motor has been holding back Robby all friggin week!The reason Robby is in the 500 is because if his raw talent and ability to take something that shouldn't have even made the race in the first place...And of course the teams hard work for sure!!Let be honest this car has had no speed all week and even in the duals for the longest time things didn't look good but we all know you can never count out Robby he was the difference of makin it..If it was another driver I'm not so sure!!!
