What a fooler that discussion thread was... I was bummed reading up to the 300km point, then all hell breaks loose and RG comes storming back! (which is pretty much what he said in his quotes). WOW!

RG may have actually won this stage. Reports that he was held up 30 seconds at road crossing, ASO may give him that time back

I am losing loads of time. I drove quite slowly in the rocky parts because I was scared of punctures. And despite this... I had one 30 km from the finish. It was a bad special, but that is the way it is. Gordon started three minutes before us, and 180 kilometres from here we had got to 30 seconds behind him. I think that when he saw us he stepped it up, leaving us in the dust. He can win this thing, so it is essential for him to manage this situation as well as he can.

I think it would be cool to have Peterhansel in a Hummer next year. He has been complimentry to Robby and the Hummer the whole race. I believe it was the 1st year with the Hummer that Robby let Stephane sit in the car to take a look, at the same time Robby put on Stephanes Race coat.
