STAGE 4 TRACKING

STAGE 4: San Juan > Chilecito

Connection 424km | Special Stage 326 | Total 750km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The most experienced drivers will be able to enjoy counting the dried-up rivers that they will cross during the day. They will also have time to admire the spectacular canyons of the Province of Rioja, but it is in their best interest to remain extremely vigilant. Nobody will be able to keep up a steady pace during the special stage. Whether it be the navigational subtleties at the end of the route or the small hurdles to overcome, there will be many occasions to lose time here. It is likely that once the rally has reached Chilecito, one or two of the competitors will have already been eliminated from the battle for the title.

Are they up somewhere yet?

I would not expect them yet just hoping

Just joking but.......... So if you are the guy that had to give the bad news to robby last year over the phone (and I know that was not fun)........... Seems to me you should be able to dial up robby at the end of the stage and get some news for us!!!! Did he take your phone away???

Nassar is a Beast, man can that dude drive....

He was embarrassing them today on a stage the mini's were supposed to use their turbo's to a huge advantage. Too bad something went amiss.

Opps misread your post agree 100%

And dominating! Good news Nasser can make up time in his rig. I bet the mini's are worried

hey this a great idea .... and he probably can bring a sponsor with him

From the Dakar.com quotes:

car300 - Nasser saleh AL-ATTIYAH
The race is not over yet

Towards the end of the special, we got stuck in the mud and it took us a long time to get out of it... But the race is not over yet and we will try to do our best over the next ten days. I am starting to get the feel of my car. This morning we were moving at a great pace, setting the best times without pushing too hard. We actually overtook two of the Minis... So we will see what we can do.

so nothing broke on the hummer they just got stuck in the mud today

Nasser at least. I don't know about Robby.

TY Alan
