Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2011 Chicagoland cup race. Robby Gordon will attempt to qualify  & IT IS a full race. Repeat: FULL RACE PLANNED. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the Illinois track.

 Practice            2:00pm - 3:30 pm/et   ( TV - ESPN2 )
 Happy Hour       6:00pm - 7:00 pm/et   ( TV - SPEED )

my understanding was rear tire issue caused problem with rear end, but that was only off what I heard from scanner.

I was at the track, there was no visible damage (he didn't hit anything)....my guess is RG knew he had a 30thish car...would have been 2 laps down, so he called the reverse audible......just a guess.

He has run several races like that this year that were scheduled as full races....again...just my guess,...not a whole lot to gain when you are already 2 down.
