Yup. No rush needed to get the cars on track.
CC Kirt Almquist? Just a guess.
pretty sure it's TOG

Isn't Pat Tryson looking?
Mean Gene?
see above.updated.
except that RGM has never been to this track. Though I'm not convinced the team is actually serious about running well in most of the races and just get what they get. No practice basically ever is rarely going to lead to quality finishes, especially at a track you have never been to.
Practice begins tomorrow...today is a test session..They are 'testing' certain things looking for favorable response..so far, so good..No tech inspection today & teams can change motors after today..Bigger budget teams can do this with ease, but smaller budget teams have to keep the "Miles" down .
good one
Ugh...this post on Jayski is exactly why the average Nascar fan has friggin clue what is going on anymore...lol

Another new twist to the qualifying format: Starting this weekend at Kentucky Speedway, there will be a rain-out qualifying procedure change for all three NASCAR national series. If first practice is run, but qualifying is unable to take place, the starting lineup will be based on speeds from the car's fastest lap from the first practice, with top-35 cars in owner points no longer segregated from the non-top 35 cars. Previously, the top 35 cars lined up in front of all other eligible car owners.(NASCAR)(7-7-2011)

From reading that you would assume the fastest first practice lap times would determine which GOGH cars make the starting lineup...whoever has the fastest 1st practice lap makes the show.

But it is not so...the field si still set by the rulebook for qualifying rainouts...its just once the field is SET per the rulebook, they will now turn to 1st practice speeds to determine the starting lineup with no preferntial treatment given to the top 35 in terms of starting spot from hereon.

It's a nuance in language...but an important one that Nascar and it's Media need to learn.
it's Brad PARROT
Am I mistaken, or is this the same person who tried to knee Robby in the balls in Mexico(I believe it was)????
2005..They also quickly resolved whatever issue they had like a week later.
