Sauters teammate and Menards driver Matt Crafton. A month ago I had not put alot thought into substitute drivers,but now I see drivers with a full CUP license,that aren't signed to competing manufacture,sponsor,or scheduling conflicts is a pretty limited group.

Crafton would be a pretty good choice as well given that the fact he already filled in for Robby at Homestead two years ago. This weekend is a tough one since Nationwide is at a different track than Cup. You pretty much were limited to guys who were in the truck race or guys who are at home sitting on the couch. If I had to choose, I'm going to pick one of the guys that is going to be in a seat this weekend with a full time ride in the NCWTS rather than someone who's on the couch. Not to mention, a fair number (if not the majority) of the guys who are on the couch aren't going to be willing to get off it for the agenda RGM is on this weekend.

People actually care who drives the car off the pace for 10 - 20 laps before hitting the showers? PJ Jones, Matt Crafton, Johnny Sauter, Scott Wimmer, Ted Musgrave....does it really matter at this point?

Hey, it's nice to know who is driving the car and especially if Rob goes to two cars again, we will have some information to kick around here.

Plus it's neat that drivers like Wimmer or Sauter can earn a little pocket change on the side while dipping their toe back into the Sprint Cup pool. Also, anything is an upgrade from the leader of the Sunshine Band

I'm all unglued about this whole thing. One minute we are happy some guy we claim to be a fan of is running all these so called races that NAZICAR puts on then the next we bitch because the team is there seeing what the hell is going on with the in house chassis and getting a check to boot. Hold on a sec i'm getting the hang of this bitchin thing maybe I....yes yes I think I can do it, I won't enjoy it but I know what's going on in Robs office. There are pictures of guys on the wall that Rob can hire and he throws (blindfolded of course) darts in the dark. Miles is in the back of the shop running remote control cars around a test track trying to figure out the set ups in those and translates the data to cup car. That's how smart he is. Some guy mows the grass for free (plus refreshments) to help support the cause. Some guy in Buffalo N.Y. refuses to feed his fish till the next time Robby Gordon wins and has a really stinky room because of it. I have plenty more stupid comments and you can hear them in person if you are at Watkins Glen. Not

well there's not much to cheer about when Sauter is going to run 40 laps only to park it.....or crash.

at this point the Baja 500 is more important anyway.
