Kevin Conway released a statement Monday evening: "I don't mind stiff competition, but I want to make sure the hard facts are told.

Really, is this an appropriate time to be making sponsor plugs, I thought this was a serious situation that Kevin went to the police about?

First and foremost, I love being a part of NASCAR and have worked very hard to earn the privilege of competing in the Sprint Cup Series.

Worked, earned....debatable at best.

On Friday night, Robby Gordon, who has a long history of issues in NASCAR decided to ambush me in the garage area at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, completely unprovoked.

RG's past is just that, past issues. How exactly do you get ambushed in a Cup garage, its almost too fan friendly at time and most sources initially said nobody saw the situation.

Robby even confronted Joe Nemechek, my car owner, on pit road during Cup Series qualifying shoving him and telling him that he was looking for me and going to assault me.

So wait, he assaulted Joe , threatened to harm you and you still decided to go around him. Seems like if that was the case you would either avoid that person, or confront them. So why go over to the Cup garage unless it was for the confrontation?

We have many witnesses including a crew chief that signed a police report documenting the truth of his physical attack on me.

So wait, now other people saw this and its automatically the "truth" just because its signed on a police report. If its legally documented, why not name this person directly?

Situations like this are not good for our sport. It's one thing if we were racing each other and I wrecked him or he wrecked me, that's an entirely different situation. I

Sure, both RG and Joe need his stuff torn up and Nascar just thrives on intentional wrecking, clearly this would have been a better route.

It's very unfortunate that he chose to physically attack me to address his rage. Our fans, sponsors and NASCAR expect and deserve more from our competitors than this bullish, illegal behavior that was displayed by Robby against me."

Bullish and Illegal are both his opinion, but in his defense, Extenze has a pretty "firm grasp" on "hard facts" when it comes to things being illegal. The did have that 6 million dollar out of court settlement. Plus already have pending issues with RGM and Front Row.

So this is how Extenze works, it clouds reality so you think your a big dick! (opps - have a big dick).
Now, that is funny!!
It seems pretty stupid for a businessman and a father to come after you unprovoked Mr. Conway.
Not sure if this thread will stay alive or if TOG still wants to keep it in the Vegas thread, but here is my 2cents worth anyways.
Kevin caught alot of slack from all kinds of people this weekend for being a Wussy, crying to nascar and going to the cops instead of being a man and just dealing with the lumps delt to him. This statement was nothing short of PR type crap of trying to BS his way into making people think it was ok for him to be a Wussy this time.
My thoughts exactly as I read his "statement." The lawsuits are being played out in the courts rather than the press so they're milking this for every ounce of media they can gain. I'd be shocked if a crew chief actually did sign a statement. KC didn't make any friends by going to the police rather than acting like a man. Who would jump on his bandwagon? Even the other Gordon without balls has been known to throw a punch! Guess the Extenze can only grow one part of the male anatomy. Can't make a man out of you. I didn't read anywhere that he went to a hospital so he couldn't have gotten roughed up too bad. It's all for the press.
Las Vegas of all places for Robby or ANYONE to want to flex muscle or address any issue and walk away without anyone to back it up with say....

Cell pics or video's from the countless fans camping out on top of the garage viewing platform looking down into the garage or where the exact place it happened. The less mentioned this bs, the less"Stamina"hehe Kevin has on this.

At the end of the Race/day...Kevin who?
Conway is just a fucking pussy. Plain and simple. And his fucking sponsor is a criminal and a cheat. Period.
i'm with you.
Planet,

Call the FDA and let them know the adverse effects Extenze is having...
I now have to shave my palms regualrly becuase of their product....LOL
Well here's my legal 2 cents...lol

"On Friday night, Robby Gordon, who has a long history of issues in NASCAR decided to ambush me in the garage area "

Hmmmm, thanks for your opinion of Robby's past, but my dear Kevin, in a criminal lawsuit prior acts or behavior are INADMISSABLE...you D-Bag...lol (unless the defendant introduces his character or past behavior as a defense, prosecution can then use it to rebut).

"Robby even confronted Joe Nemechek, my car owner, on pit road during Cup Series qualifying shoving him and telling him that he was looking for me and going to assault me."

Really? on pit road DURING qualifying....and hmmm..nobody else sawy this?? I find that logically inpossible. In addition, where is Joe Nemechek's police report filing charges against Robby if he assaulted him too? (KC said he shoved him). Plus, if you weren't there, how do you know Robby shoved Joe Nemechek? Did anyone else but Joe tell you this?(that's called heresay...lol) If Front Row Joe does not coorborate this my dear Kevin, stating this as a fact in your statement has just opened you up to a potential libel lawsuit you D-Bag!

"We have many witnesses including a crew chief that signed a police report documenting the truth of his physical attack on me."

For your sake and the others, KC, Robby better have hit you otherwise you are all guilty of filing a false police report, and potentially perjury if it goes to court and it is untrue...
He doesn't have to hit him. Assault is the "threat" and battery is the action.
