Wonder when Joe Nemecheck is going to experience the effects of the Extenze/Conway money shell game?
Joe is putting Conway in the 87 car which was locked in owner points and Nemechek qualified the 97. Kevin did not get into the Daytona 500 and is racing a locked in car for Vegas Nationwide. He is now 0 for 2.

There are no sponsors on the 87 or 97 this week for Joe. He was trying to make a few extra bucks by entering his back up as the 97 with KC behind the wheel. The plan was to S&P for the 97. Unfortunately, Joe backed the 87 in the wall during the last practice yesterday. They had no back up. Since Joe is running for the Nationwide driver's points, he's going to drive the 97 so he can run the full race for driver points. I believe KC is going to S&P the wrecked car... if it can even start. Didn't make a qualifying run.

Las Vegas police Officer Barbara Morgan told The Associated Press on Saturday that Conway filed a misdemeanor battery complaint after the quarrel that occurred about 5 p.m.

Morgan said police did not witness the exchange and no arrest was made, and no summons issued. She said police will interview any possible witnesses and turn the investigation over to the Clark County district attorney in Las Vegas for a decision on whether charges will be filed.

Morgan said she did not know how long the process will take.

Gordon was unavailable for comment because he was in his car practicing Saturday. He told FOXSports.com Friday night that "a heated argument" occurred between he and Conway "about a sponsor that didn't pay its bills," and "there were no punches thrown."
