Did you all see what he wrote on si.com yesterday? The entire piece was wrong other than that Robby had 3 lawsuits going on.

Check it out:

Speaking of NASCAR losing drivers to the IndyCar ranks, Robby Gordon appears on his way out of town. Right now, he's fighting three lawsuits: one versus former sponsor Extenze for non-payment, a second versus BAM Racing for breach of contract and a third against Specialized Bicycles for copyright infringement over allegedly using their logo for his SPEED Energy Drink. None of them appear to be resolved in the near future.

His Cup program has sponsorship for only a handful of races, and multiple sources say Gordon has grown weary of trying to fight a losing battle as a single-car, independent owner/driver on the circuit. Off-road sponsors like Monster Energy Drink are the only ones helping keep the No. 7 afloat right now, hungry for the additional exposure NASCAR's fan bases gives their product. Without them, Gordon's car would have already been auctioned off by now, and I don't expect to see him manning the driver's seat much beyond the first five races of 2011. In fact, should IndyCar continue its upward swing, there's a strong possibility the former open-wheel regular might move in that direction for 2012 and beyond.

Hilarious. The best part is when he talks about Monster Energy sponsoring his car and Speed energy sponsoring his car.  Also note that he says "none of the lawsuit will be resolved in the near future." Whoops! one already has!

Thanks for posting, just read it.Bowel wrote alot to defend his original piece.Still doesn't get it,probably never will.

Just read it myself, and you are correct.

Bowles is a typical hard card NASCAR writer. Color within the lines. Don't think outside the box. I replied to Mr. Bowles via tweet:

@nascarbowles I'm sitting in smallest room of my house with your @RobbyGordon article is in front of me...it will soon be behind me.

too funny

I think he should add some speed energy to his car for fuel! he probably thinks thats whats up 2? wow people are a trip.

" So, of course we should salute him for Dakar. That's where he's successful, it's where he's talented and ultimately it's where he'll focus while figuring out the next stage of his career. But unless NASCAR makes rule changes to help his team close the gap, it's hard to see this Californian ever running full-time in stock cars again.

OK, enough of Robby. Let's move on..."

Ole Bowels...His momma sure must be proud. Here's to KARMA biting him in his ass!

On a different note...I want to give a big shout out to all of Robby's fans that responded back to Bowels and set him straight. Thank You!

Well, I was wrong. It appears that Mr. Bowles did not get the message. Its too bad, he still knows nothing about Racing and what its all about! Sounds just like a politician.......as of late

Yep, not impressed with him after having 4 days to correct himself and do some journalism instead of defending his sorry opinion. I sent him a lengthy e-mail with way more factual information than anything he's put in his "articles" the last few weeks.

LOL
He's starting a new blog, 'Bowels' Movements'...
I for one refuse to worry about shit that flies don't even care about!
