2011 Dakar Rally Hummer Departure Day

The SPEED ENERGY Hummers leave today for the 2011 Dakar Rally in Argentina . There will be many photos & videos coming out that feature a FINAL look at both machines, before they begin their journey south. A few fast facts : Unlike the support vehicles that travel by ship to Argentina, the HUMMERS will be flown there.Be sure to check back daily, as well as revist video from past rallys ,in the Planet Dakar Group.

Nicky, Note that the Orange one has 303 on the door and the black one is 327.. A great number BTW my favorite small block chevy engine.

my fav SBC would be last years hummer number 302 as in DZ 302.

Who is driving the Second Hummer? Is it the 10 time Class Champion of Off-Road Racing Marc Stein? or is it B.J. Baldwin or whom? Thanks for letting us know
