True Robby fans need to unite and get behind Robby!
Like most of you, I hate to see the way the things have been going lately. I see the same thing weekly, decent in practice, struggle in qualifying, decent in Happy Hour, start decent in first few laps, then "Loose"...from there on it's downhill.
Listening to the scanner, Walter & Robby seem to communicate well. Walter seems to know what the car needs based on the feedback given.
However, if you listen to other drivers on the scanner and even Larry McReynolds, Tim Brewer and others, Robby is NOT the only driver struggling with the COT. Kurt Busch, Elliott Sadler and others have struggled just as bad. The biggest difference is the racing luck. Robby got the car dialed in okay last week at Bristol, but got caught in somebodys wreck...it happens...it's Bristol. Fuel mileage has created alot of Robby's problems, he seems to have to pit a lap or 2 sooner than most and a caution comes out, or like last night he needs a caution and it doesn't come out until the leader gets by him.
It's not just one thing! It's racing luck, figuring out the COT, Dodge is way behind this year, bad fuel mileage, new crew chief, etc. It's a recipe that equals these results. One bright spot is plate racing: a 6th, 8th and 11th and plate tracks. Talladega is coming up soon!
I know several have posted let's send an email to a potentila sponsor, or a thank you to sponsors who have joined Robby this season. WHAT ABOUT SENDING AN EMAIL TO RGM, TO ROBBY...AS HIS FANS (THE BEST OUT THERE!) WE ARE BEHIND YOU AND WE SUPPORT YOU! Get some positive energy flowing through the shop. Robby needs us now more than ever. It's easy to jump onboard when everything is going well, but real fans show their support in the darkest hours.
I know, as a Alabama Crimson Tide fan. We have had years of coaches, embarassing losses and controversy, but it made it all so much sweeter on Saturday when we rolled #9 Clemson and held two All-American running backs to 20 rushing yards! We finally were able to stand tall and yell "Roll Tide Roll!"
Robby will bounce back and it will be great to see him back in victory lane!

I guess you didn't read, Blitz. It's not stating the obvious I'm talkin about. It's the straight BS, Robby needs to sell, RGM won't have any sponsors next year, RGM is auctioning off everything.....this isn't obvious, fuck it's not even true! It's bullshit,& I'm callin out the little pissy panty whining assholes on it! I'm just as tired of reading their bs, as I am seeing RG finish so pitifully.
BTW stating the obvious IS pretty redundant at this point though, don't ya think?

I'm a robby fan and will always be a robby fan. But quite frankly, when your football team loses, our your baseball team loses, you piss and moan about things they could have done better, well, when your favorite driver is lucky to get a 30th place finish, its time to piss and moan cause things aren't getting any better.

I hear what your sayin Garrett, results haven't been worth a shit for a while. However for somebody, ANYBODY who doesn't know what goes on in between the races to sway others opinoins is fuckin absurd. There are some on here who would hang Walter. Do they know his day, to day? Do they know any/all of the variables that have changed in the shop, or on the cars since he came in? How bout them "doom,& gloomers", that imply they have knowledge about sponsorship, or lack there of? Are they sitting in on meetings with current,& potential sponsors? Fuck no! For that matter, do these same people talk to anybody with valid info? Obviously not. I know *you* try to be intellegent when you start, or reply to threads. But you can only do so much with what you have available to ya...kinda like our boy.

Mike, Walter might be the greatest CC known to man, but in his situation with Robby trying to crew chief, it isn't working out. Robby has fired CC for better performance just because he didn't like them. All I'm saying is you people are acting like we are running well and having back luck, the fact is its been downhill since Walter got there. I'm going to stand behind Robby no matter what he does, but some people need to realize that he hasn't made us competitive like the others have.
