Actually it's because he is the only one turning in consistently decent runs....they are pinning all their hopes on him, thus he is 'the franchise' for MWR.

10 minutes into 2nd practice and RG is 15th out of 33.. nice

no q-trim until late in practice, and a few cars are already in q-trim.
