not a very good practice for the team....hope they hit on something in HH
just tweaking a few things. They have a solid baseline with this chassis.
photos and updates are rolling in from Saturday practice.
hopefully some speed will roll in during happy hour
Not on track yey??
This is only practice guys. Try some things, make some adjUstments, get ready for Sunday. I'd love to see RG at the top of the speed chart too, but not overdriving to do it. Hate to hurt the motor or get loose and put it in the wall just to get a quick time. Word is Robby has a racey car this week and will be able run with the leaders on Sunday.
Not seeing speeds in practice showing that, hope his car is fast. These speeds are making me cringe.
again...back to what I said earlier..EVERYONE's fast lp was lap 1 on sticker tires.

since RG solely foused on Q's...very posible he had no sticker tires left to start practices today (as I think they get only 5 or 6 sets for practice?). thus the top end speed and avg speed will hurt numerically.

I d b more intrested to hear how the car handled today..if that's good...throw some stickers on it and we'll be fine
3 practice sessions, 45 laps total. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears only the Start 'n Park teams, the #09 and #66, ran fewer laps. Granted, RG spent a lot of time in the garage making changes. Hopefully they have something for the race.
i think they were using the practices more as a test session for the new car just to see what the different changes would do to the handling. the track is going to be cold tommorrow so the practices today wont help you set up a good car for tommorrow. you just need to know how to change your car
I'll find stuff out when the race starts.....thats all that matters at this point.....
Guys, Robby wouldn't have gotten this far in life if he lacked intelligence. He knows what he is doing, its practice, its about handling not speed. Robby knows that handling good for 500 miles is much more important than knocking off one fast lap. It doesn't pay any money to win practice.
