I saw the practice speeds and was pretty happy (I know its all drafting).

Then I come here and see the tire issues.... scary....
Rob got an 18th and a 5th in the two practices today.. pretty impressive for drafting practice. "He's just as fast as the leaders..." I love that. Stay out of the "big one", make no mental mistakes, and Rob should have a good finish on Sunday.
Excited for the duals today.. Hope Rob has a good run and interested in seeing which GOGH drivers make the race. The green flag should drop at 1:14 PM CST.
I am excited about the race for the transfer spots. I hope some low budget team makes it in. Go Kirk !
I also would like like to see the lesser teams beat the odds.
I can't believe I'm going to be in class from 1-5:15...... Son of a bitch.
I would like to see Riggs and Shelmerdine make it from the first race and Said and Allmendinger from the second race. Realistically, Shelmerdine is gonna have a tough time making it and Said was fast at Daytona before but I don't think the #08 has it..
Got my 1/2 day vacation, getting ready to watch the duels! We have 40 mph winds so the cable better hold out. So far so good.

OK, so what does Robby do today? Go to the front or hang in the back (way back). I hope he goes for the win. Safest place is in the lead pack IMO, and Robby needs to send the message that he will be worthy to draft with on Sunday.
I'd like to keep the talk of the 150's in this section, thats why the group was created to have it archived.
150 Chat has been created in a new thread.
ok da gimps here
just finished mounting new shocks on race truck
OK.. so more practice is scheduled for today and tomorrow. (geez.. no wonder all the drivers say that they don't need to test.)..

So when do you think Robby will change his engine? tonight after practice today, then just run a couple shakedown laps on the new motor tomorrow?
