Join us here to discuss all the 2009 Daytona 500 practices,qualifying,Duel150's and the actual Daytona 500 race. A week long tradition ! First practice begins on Saturday , Feb 7th at 10:30 am,live on SPEED TV. Qualifying is on Sunday, Feb 8th, live on FOX, and the Duel 150's are on Thursday, Feb 12th live on SPEED. The Daytona 500 is on Sunday , Feb 15th and is on FOX.

Think RG is making adjustments and going to make a second run? I know it's practice and it really doesn't matter much but like to see what the Camry can do..

RG must have out of line as tracker shows no new laps run.. probably wouldn't have been a clean lap anyway.

If Rob goes out tenth today that means his laps should be sometime between 12:15 - 12:30 CST!! Wonder if, like usual, FOX will cut to commercial during his run? Last nights wreck should have gotten some of the cobwebs out of a lot of these drivers heads.. any predictions on where RG will qualify today? I'm guessing around 30th and he will move up position in the dual on Thursday!!

Was mostly just standard sponsor stuff etc. But also mentioned how the cars were all sliding out there, lack of grip. Hs car handled well, but it was like they were skating out there, and that was at nigt. Could be interesting come Sunday in the sun..but said hopefully the track rubering up will help.
