2009 Bud Shootout Practice & Race Talk

Join in the discussion for the 2009 Bud Shootout practice,which is today and is televised LIVE on Speed TV, First practice is at 4:00pm, and second practice is at 6:30pm ( eastern time ) . Robby will start 13th in the Bud Shootout on Saturday night.

The only thing I'm glad for here is the extra track time. However, running two different cars, it remains to be seen if this weekend really makes any difference. Having "Cocky" Robby behind the wheel is a plus.

Only a few hours til practice, I'll be thinking about racing all day in class, I hope my professors don't mind.

I was just sitting here thinking......

When Robby left RCR and started his own gig I was a tad bit worried, although happy in another sense because i thought Harvick was a crappy teamate and an A-Hole. Then he went through the whole deal with Menards engine (Kaboom) fiasco, missing races ect....

Now 5 years later...he still has his own team, doing what pretty much everybody said that there is no way it can be done owner/driver. He got a podium at Dakar, won Laughlin....I think Robby is going to be making withdrawls from the "Karma" bank this year and my guess is we will look back on this season and say yeah 2009 was a good one....

Needless to say....
