I agree Mike. Something's up. I looked at results from 2012 and 8-10 S&P's were the norm at each race. There were half as many last year and virtually none this year. NNS still has 8-9 S&P's each race.

And you can guarantee AMA will have Bubba pee in a cup.

@WJM,just for shit's,I looked at the CUP purse from Sears, I'm suspect there's back side money for teams to run full races.Becouse front side money makes no sense.much like youthstream.

There is really nothing there. They seem not to know what they're doing to their product. Random rules from random sanctioning bodies are making this stuff hard to care about, and even harder to think about spending hard earned $ to go see.

I hear ya Will. Who pays the "credibility" fee? The riders. The SX purse payout is a joke. Our local Saturday night short track pays nearly as much.

What has the world really come to when credibility is sought after rather than earned? So much of racing is just corporate packaging now days. I'm going to local track racing only from here on out, at least there your credibility is earned or lost by your actions.

What I've been able to surmise is Feld wanted to promote SX as a world championship and felt it necessary to have FIM sanctioning for credibility.

Related, here's an interesting read: http://bit.ly/1nywCtp

Two investment opportunities that I never invested in and wish I would've one was Lilly pharmaceutical and the other was Pixar.
