I would like to know if anyone else noticed this and if it means anything at all? While watching the NASCAR race this past Saturday night an STP commercial aired. Not sure which STP product the commercial was featuring but, there was a black Dodge Challenger in it. What caught my eye was the chrome badging on the grille of the Challenger, Dodge by Petty. The King was also breifly featured in the commercial but I assume it had something to do with his long standing association with STP. Could RPM be the next Dodge team?

Man how many times can the same post go in the wrong place.

Must be getting senile.

Stop Teenage Pregnancy.
That was the big pun on STP up in mid Washington in the late 60's early 70's
Dad was a mechanic so I too had a ton of them.
Man we are old farts.

mj, thanks for the clarification. It's the first time I have seen this particular commercial.

No prob

Josh, thanks for the link. It's the first time I've seen the commercial featuring the Dodge Challenger by Petty. Actually I had no idea the King was in the performance car business similar to Roush and Saleen. Thanks again.

It is just a matter of time before they announce...

I didn't know the king did that, either. yea, I expect RPM will be the Dodge flagship next year. wonder if RP will still build the engines.

Those STP uniforms are timelessly goofy.

Desoto was a Chrysler product....................that's all folks

Dude Parnelli Jones raced everything! What a history of racing in one body. For you guys that were alive and remember the 60's what a period to watch racing. Back when many racers raced in many different venues. Robby and to a certain extent Tony are really throwbacks to that era.

He's even in the Off-Road Hall Of Fame . ( not that I love off-road racing or anything lol ) Parnelli and Big Oly are legendary .
