No, I am not trolling, I just wanted to gauge the feelings here. Given where RGM is with funding, etc., I wonder if it is at all feasible for Robby to put P.J. in the 7 at Sonoma and the Glen and drive for a team like MWR's 55 or Stewart/Haas' 10. Seems like that would be a win/win for everyone.

Worst idea you have ever heard? Been discussed many times without my knowledge?

Probably the only chance he has of winning, but I wouldnt count on it... It would have to be a Dodge... so Penske would be the only likely choice. Doubt that will happen ever

No way. RG built a brand new road piece last year that he drove at The Glen, but will be tested this year & thats what he is going to drive at Infineon & The Glen.

and it's going to be a rocket! Robby was close in 2010, time to finish the job!

No way!

No way a team owner wants another team owner anywhere near their equipment/shop/secrets/marketing/personel etc.

Robbys good, but he aint that good.

If Robby had a competitive engine in the car things would be very different! As for P.J. I hope he's in a RGM car! His first couple of laps at Infineon was the most exciting part of last year for RGM...In my opinion.

Robby had Penske engines at the road courses last year. So?

He did...?

Had them for Infineon, but not The Glen. PJ Jones had the Penske motor in his car at The Glen

there's the correct answer,thanks TOG

You make a great point...sounds good on the surface but I know there are alot of factors that prevent him from actually jumpin in another ride. Sounds like a good idea....but Robby belongs in his own car, taking the Speed Energy Dodge to victory lane.
