Stage 8 - Sunday, January 11

Valparaiso > La Serena

Connection: 245 km | Special: 294 km | Connection: 113 km | Total: 652 km
After a day of rest on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, an easier restart has been programmed. On mid-range mountain roads, driving hotshots should be able to really strut their stuff. The experts in car positioning, trajectory and sudden braking will show how it’s done. But for the rally leaders, there is certainly more to be lost than won during this stage.

Yes. But you're not going to win the overall just by surviving.
agreed
Its not unlike the Baja 1000 is anymore. In the sense that it is not just surviving, you have to be FAST, the entire way. Its too competative with too many talented teams and drivers. You have more room for error here obviously, just based on the lenght of the event and the fact that NO ONE goes through without a mistake. But you don't get ten, 10 minute mulligans if you want it all!
Hollowbalz took back 7th.
Thanks, it was either Hollowbalz or Hollownutz.
Looks like Holyputz (I liked that version) got back by Robby
Sainz has arrived...
If Sainz has finished...that means we only have about 1/2 hour b4 Robby gets there....Hopefully he cut it down in the last section...we'll see.....
is tracking on dakar hosed? I cant get any "complete stage standings"
mine dosent show finish either
now its up
