Stage 8 - Sunday, January 11

Valparaiso > La Serena

Connection: 245 km | Special: 294 km | Connection: 113 km | Total: 652 km
After a day of rest on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, an easier restart has been programmed. On mid-range mountain roads, driving hotshots should be able to really strut their stuff. The experts in car positioning, trajectory and sudden braking will show how it’s done. But for the rally leaders, there is certainly more to be lost than won during this stage.

Is the tracking down I still got just 8 cars at cp1. is it just me?
12:25 - Car - Sainz leads at CP1

The leader of the general standings, Spaniard Carlos Sainz (VW), arrived in the lead at CP1, 1.35 ahead of his country-man Nani Roma (Mitsubishi) and 2.08 in front of American Mark Miller (VW).

Something looks fishy, No mention of Depping like it shows on the tracker in 2nd place. Maybe he did miss 111's checkpoint?
I don't show Depping at 111 either. Let's hope he missed a mandatory checkpoint!
Never mind here is a new update.

12:45 - Car - Depping 2nd at CP1

Now that the first 7 cars have reached CP1, after 178 km of the day’s special stage, German Dieter Depping (VW) is now in provisional 2nd place, 1.32 behind his Spanish team-mate and general standings leader, Carlos Sainz (VW), but 3 seconds ahead of Spaniard Nani Roma (Mitsubishi).
At least he's passed the Datsuns... Nothing like having a 6 year old Frontier beat us...
Its rough out here in the real world BB.
I know this track sucks for the hummer but Robby has to stay inside the top 10 to start tomorrow's stage.
How do we squash these 'bugs'? They are getting annoying.
Thanks for the face lift but the bugs will have to makes mistakes for us to get past
It is hard to squash them when you can not see them.
That race solidified my allegiance to Robby. It is good to see that some drivers still have passion.
Vigouroux crossed Cp1
