January 3rd-8th, the Rally Raid starts in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and races South than East before racing to North to the city of Ha'il.

January 9th, Rest Day Ha'il

January 10th-15th, the Rally Raid continues from Ha'il through the North Eastern area of Saudi Arabia before heading to West, than South along the Red Sea, finishing in Jeddah.

13:22 Barreda scores a brace!
Joan Barreda has taken his second stage win this year. The HRC biker started in 30th place, seized the lead at the first time check and never looked back. Ross Branch came in six minutes down on Barreda and a few seconds ahead of rookie Daniel Sanders and Luciano Benavides's Husqvarna.

15:06 Al-Attiyah makes it three!
Nasser Al-Attiyah has got it in the bag! The Qatari fended off his rivals to take his third stage win in a row. Despite three stage wins (and the prologue), he now trails Stéphane Peterhansel by just under five minutes in the general classification.
