Only 34 minutes back.
How hard will it be to make up 34 minutes?
Not as hard as you would think. The Hummer should fare much better when the rally gets into Chile.
Robby, your doing great, keep it up.
...and only 7 seconds back from 8th!

Drive smart until stage 10 and then Gas On!
Getting off the farm roads and into the desert is where RG will make it up. Does anybody know what happened to the tracking on the Dakar site? I never saw him after CP1.
what happened to the other hummer, mechanical or what??
Engine @ 2km in.
30 minutes back is not bad. One flat tire by the leader knocks off 15 minutes. Also, Robby has yet to enter his "strength" segments. A LONG way to go!
TWO weeks left, lots can happen, remember how VW colapesed in 2007.
I'm not positive I read it right....on RG.com it said that in stage 3 robby broke two left wheels....so he broke 2 left wheels and finished 12 minutes off the leaders? I'd say if that is correct...Robby was haulin SOME serious ass.....Buy some luck and keep the pieces together..I think we see that 30+min shrink quickly...I'm feelin good about this.......
That's what I read too -- and they were happy with their gas mileage. I'm feeling REALLY good about this.
