@MJ...you just hit the nail on the head brother...love and respect for your dialogue!
Cheers!

Just seems now its like a ( Quick ) part time effort in the desert.... Sst is not the desert its beat and bang... So just saying maybe RPM SHOULD PREP DA TRUCK ya id be pissed embarassed and like somebodys fired .. you are 100 percent correct Bruce just seems (part timish) ...

You do realize RGM doesn't build their engines? Does RPM build their own engines?

What failures in the last 5 years were related specifically to RGM prep?

Maybe Yates :) with a chevy symbol ...haha but who ever they are at rpm look at to be reliable and look results when RG uses them :)

by the way, that is what a NASCAR Spec engine is. LS with a distributor

Negative on the yates!! lol. #bowtiebrigade!!

No, wasn't there a time when RCR built his engines. Thought I read that somewhere.

Yes, the original power plants where RCR units. And SB2 heads where the standard cylinder head in NASCAR at that time

@Bricoop.. I am not sure exactly what failures one can attribute to RGM vs the parts being used. One observation that holds true is RGM is not having success with some of the programs. i.e. desert. All I know is that the Truggy was bad fast and reliable. I also recall Robby using a RPM truck a few years ago and ran 2nd I believe. Heck was that his last podium in the desert?

It seems RGM has a lot of irons in the fire; with a TT Program, UTV Program, Dakar Program not to mention a whole SST series. IMO..and I don't know shit about racing... If Robby narrowed his focus just a little and let RPM prep/supply the desert effort and RGM works on the rest, maybe a better result all around would be found.

Enough of my crap rant... Gas on RGM and hope success for the Team.

as for all this complaining about lack of info, do you follow 'chat' ? Read thru the thread? Or just read the last page?

Mike
I sure do read all of a chat line. Look at this chat as an example, I am sure RG knew way before January 25th when it was announced on this chat that he was racing Parker. What's the secret? All I think the fans are asking for is communication, good or bad. Some news better than no news.

Lots of business dealings on the back-end we aren't privy to. I've got some guesses what happened over the last month, but I don't like spreading rumors. At least we are let down now, and not half way through Lap 3.

Time and cash are something that alot of us run short of at times... I come from the boating /ski racing side of life..Both were always a premium but I have fond memories of thrashing all night in a poorly lit parking lot, helping tear an engine down and watching it get fixed then put back in..

Before the next race in the morning...happened " many a time"...
