I saw the same comment, but who knows if it is true. But wouldn't Robby get a car locked into top 35?
Yes, he would. And I imagine his shop is more than big enough to house a 2nd team.

I doubt if it is true by any means, but if a driver could secure sponsorship, it would be a hell of a move for RG to then put him in a locked in 2nd car.

My wacko prediction...JJ Yeley drives for RGM in 2009....lol he keeps saying on the Morning Drive he is close or has a sponor deal willng ot back him, he just needs a ride, and since there aren't many out there (one has to think Labonte ends up in the #41 and AJ would trump JJ for any other ride), RGM might be the only team able\willing to expand one car if the sponsor dollars were already in hand with the driver. Most teams left are at 4 cars or at 3...
for the record Id rather have my balls hot waxed than see JJ drive for us...lol but a 2nd car is a 2nd car
Scott Riggs said at Talladega that he had a driving contract in hand ready to sign. Whats he doing now? Drivers LIE!
JJ Yaley is not the answer. Pray that he doesnt end up with RGM.
let's hope not, no fan of Randy Lajoie, but when he called JJ a "crash test dummy" to his face on tv at the Prelude, that was priceless. Obviously a second car would be nice, but for the sake of the fab shop, let's hope it's not JJ- the dude's an accident magnet.
doesnt riggs have the state sponsorhip following him?
No Thanks
Ah well it's all speculation, but the provisional would be nice to have in case it's needed. Don't know how Robby and Bobby would gel personality-wise. We will have to wait and see. Joan
