BJ told me a couple months back that Robby hadn't even asked him. I hope that's changed because I'm sure BJ would loved to drive it again.
Update. last week BJ thought he'd have news by this weekend. He's in Alaska fishing, and haven't heard a thing yet. He said he didn't care if he was just backup, he wanted to go!
Love to see Tony do this. I just wonder about his fitness. He has become pretty big guy, which will be challenge while digging the car out of the sand or working on the under side of the hummer. We have known of Robby spending endless hours in an inhospitable desert both in Dakar and Baja, trying to repair his truck. I don’t see Tony having such patience.

For those who are desperate to see some racing before the Dakar, there is the ROC at Wembley stadium in the UK with Traves Pastrana and Carl Edwards representing USA. I hope they win the national competition and I think Traves has the skill to win the individual competition.
It is Travis Pastrana.

Anyways, is there anywhere online you can follow the ROC?
It was him, just checked and it the drifter Tanner Foust. Only drift driver in the competition. He has style, but may not be the best when getting the most speed out of a corner. You should be able to watch it on "Al Jazeera Sports" live. Commentary might be in arabic. Most to the Eurosport channels are bloked for video content, but you might want to give it a try.
Tony Stewart runs The Chili Bowl, which will be Jan 13 - 17. Kind of hard to do that if he is in South America.
Not to mention....I doubt with Tony's new Ownership and team startup he would give 30-40 days away.....now 3 or 4 years down the road.....maybe
And it's not like the South American Rally is going to be the ideal place to START your off road racing career. Maybe Laughlin would be a better bet.....hell, even the Baja 500....
Robby is going to make sure that whomever drives the second H3 will know that their number one job is to be a water carrier. Robby wants to win this race BAD! Other than in the case of severe mechanical failure on Robby's car, the second H3 will stay behind RG at all times.

I predict 5 or 6 stage wins along with a podium spot.
You're just upset that YOURE not the one calling it
then he better not get BJ because he likes to win and does it often.
I just realized, you are arguing in favor of putting Jimmie Johnson in the second H3! Awesome!
