me too.....me too....me too...me too.....me too.....
Even in the NASCAR off season
I love this site
I knew nothing about Off Road until I became a Robby fan, now can't wait until DAKAR
I don't think I could take Robby and MWR, that would be a pisser
Their might not be enough cars to fill the top 35 never mind 43 car field
Maybe a few single car owners could fit in?
He needs to get out of that Dodge as quick as possible, we all know he only got in it because of the Dakar cancellation, and he had to do, what he had to do, to race. Dodge does have a pretty good guy in Nardelli (however it is) running the program, but they don't give two shits about RG running their cars, jmo, and they don't gots the money. Dodge has been very clear that less involvement in cup right now is better for them,( ie. Gannassi & DEI merger), lose the deabeats and get with the sugardaddy-Toyota. Get RG in there working with TRD, and not so much a satellite team (unless Penske), could be a very good combo.
DB, before Robby quit using GEM motors, Dodge made some pretty strong comments how they wanted him to stay in their camp,& how GEM isn't the only one building Dodge motors. Thats months ago, much more recentely I've heard Dodge might not be around for the green flag @ Daytona. Thats the only good reason IMO for Robby to be shopping anywhere else right now. I don't think it's because his current manufacture doesn't give 2 shits. IMO if Dodge will leave it will be after this bailout is a done deal. That way it appears to all the HEMI lovers that it's big bro's call, not theirs.
you might be right about no Dodges taking the green at Daytona, I think they'll start , just might not be around for the checkered at Homestead, I'm with you on that. I've never heard Dodge mention RG at all, besides the nose mishap at Daytona, I'm sure Nardelli likes RG, seems like a pretty sharp dude, but I just think he's there cause of the GEM help after the Dakar cancell, and that's it. If he stays with dodge, he better be glued together with Penske, other than that, move on. I know you probably don't want to hear this, but the big guys from Irwindale keep saying Ford, done deal
Toyota sounds good. Sooner it be chevy.
Go on ebay and get patches to cover up the Chevy or Ford with whoever he's with this year. At least his number hasn't changed and JB's still with him. I got a Dodge to fit over the Chevy perfectly.
I buy stuff with RGM logos or just his off-road stuff.
whatever gets Robby into Victory lane....word up!!!
I think Robby would run better in a toyota if he can get help from joe gibbs racing and lease engines from them but that would most likely not happen because he would'nt be given enough resources from a top notch team.
IF and I stress the IF this is the Penske satellite team people were talking about to prepare for his anticipated switch in 2010 could it be possible that the engines would be Jasper Engines? If thats the case this could initially be a bad move with Jasper making an all new motor one would think it would be prone to problems, but after the first quarter to half of the year that should all be worked out and it could be good. IF it is a Penske satellite deal I would think he would get quite a bit of support from Penske so Penske cars would have a lot less of a learning curve in 2010. Overall this seems like it would be a good scenario in the long run, but it may not even happen. I'll just be glad to see RG racing on Sundays in whatever he decides to with as much trouble as Nascar is having right now
RGM could run the Bud Shootout as a Dodge and then switch!

Seriously, other than where you get the engines from, what does it really matter with the COT what "manufacturer" the car is supposed to look like? Are the cars all the same except for minor differences in the nose and decals?
