STAGE 4 TRACKING

STAGE 4: SAN SALVADOR DE JUJUY > SAN SALVADOR DE JUJUY

Connection 201km | Special Stage 418km | Total 619km

COURSE OVERVIEW

Marathon 1: No Mechanics! On many levels, the competitors face their first real test here. The special section takes place at an average of 3,500m altitude, with incessant changes in pace resulting from alternating sandy and rocky terrain. This grueling route will be on the agenda when everyone already has 2,500km in the saddle or bucket seat, which is already exhausting for the lower placed drivers. First and foremost, this is the start of a very particular marathon stage, with a closed area for the vehicles... and for the competitors.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

1 hr penalty for speaking English I bet
im doing a speed energy bomb every hour till I now

make sure you don't have high blood pressure

Robby vs Dakar gives me high blood pressure

ASO enforcing "double secret probation" which gives them unlimited power! ha, good reference plimp

It just really pisses me off! Come on ASO, no one was going to catch your precious PUGS, no need to throw out 1 hour penalties... I can see 5-10 minutes but seriously, to an elite driver! Would never happen to any of the French, Nassar or even El Matador!

Is there an appeal process with ASO or is this it?

10th and 26th
Thank goodness I can wake in the 5am/pm hour

Good pics from today https://www.facebook.com/groups/robbygordonfans/permalink/101538730...

Now if we could only get the Argentinian's to go out there and build some jumps and dips in the roads.

BTW, why no jumps this year? Last year on these early stages ASO had some out there.

@Kevin, to you and me, they're racing logging roads.But. it's they're Summer, if it was North America . it's Winter hard North of the 35th parallel

Yeah we need to get them on some powerline trails.

Yeah the photos came from here

And now I see them on the right-hand side of course.
