Was wondering what the take is on who we, RG Fans, are cheering for during this years Daytona 500. I say Paul Menard, his Dad has always supported Robby throughout the years. Maybe Casey Mears...

My pick is either of the Busch brothers. They both have great talent and seem like they can wheel just about anything, as Kurt proved last year. Though, with both Robby and Dodge out, I no longer am a loyal fan of any of them.

For a dark horse, Jamie McMurray seems to do well at restrictor plate races and he has HMS engines.

Also, it seems to me that most of the general public agree with what Kyle and Richard Petty have said about Danica. However, the NASCAR guys need her, especially her $ for Stewart, so they are propping her up. Eventually, hopefully, the rest of NASCAR will get tired of it and end the experiment.

Ed, not being a dick here but part of your comment doesn't make sense. Danica is one of the most popular drivers in the series and she appears in a large number of national ad campaigns. That would seem to suggest that the general public do not agree with Richard and Kyle.

No worries Wally, I don't question the dollars and attention she gets. Just with friends of mine that I talk nascar with, we all agree that she doesn't have the talent to win a race. Maybe she'll prove us all wrong?

Will there be chat during the duel races?

My money is on the one in the Cowboy Hat.

Sad - very sad. Reminds me of the last time we were at Disney.

To paraphrase WJM: -

For me:

Emotional Pick: #14
Logical Pick: #4
Dark Horse: #16
NASCAR's Pick: #3
Marketing Pick: #10
Fan Pick: #88
Sets off the Big One: #22

There.

Kevin Conway

The #14, guy is all fired up and had a 6 month vaction...

Its all fixed anyway the #3 will have a bigger plate so the 3 can return with a bang! RATINGS RATINGS

Based on the duels, I think that Hamlin or Kenseth have the best chance. But I would love to see the 'Dinger win it.
