STAGE 8: SALTA > CALAMA

Connection 510km | Special Stage 302km | Total 812km

COURSE OVERVIEW

Today the competitors will cross the Andes Cordillera, to begin the Chilean part of the rally. A special transition stage has been marked out there for the last day that cars will progress without overtaking motorcycles and quad bikes. The timed section of the day will be accessible to skilled drivers who are at ease on fast tracks in a closed environment. Drivers are advised to pay attention to their position from the outset to limit the number of overtaking manoeuvres, even though the strict standards regarding the use of the Sentinel system will be carefully monitored at the end of the day.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

for 13.6 billion

and the problem with America is nothing is owned by Americans anymore.... and they wonder what happend to the American dream... it was sold

I doubt that. 13.6 B buys a lot of "dream". One of the major "impacter" on your American Dream is the US government. As long as you allow them to slowly chipping away your earnings you'll have less and less to spend on domestic or imported goods and services, whoever makes them available to you for the lowest possible price and for the quality you think is right, high or low. And thats just one of the variables of the 12 cell matric of the American Free Enterprise System, still in place today, at least for now..

I guess I should looks to all the micro breweries now everywhere and maybe the American dream is still alive in part with the little guy taking sales from the big guy

VW is looking at buying Navistar. Probably get MAN to bid for it. VW does not have much of a Commercial vehicles presence in the US.

this country will even sell its heritage in booze for a buck. Do we have anything left?
