STAGE 2 TRACKING

STAGE 2: SAN LUIS > SAN RAFAEL

Connection 365km | Special Stage 433km | Total 798km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The fastest special stage of the rally, at least for its first part, will also be the one where drivers will have to face the first dunes. And it won’t just be a brief encounter with sand: in the last 100 kilometres, the exploration of the grey dunes of Nihuil will be even more intensive than during previous visits. The sand is more firm there, but the experience will provide a great deal of insight about each of the competitors’ technical skills. In short it will be a veritable test.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

i am really pissed

me too....

+1 Thomas. Nail on the head

Holo is in so maybe RG is close behind

Standby, No official CP times for 3 of the finishers. Who knows what might happen???

South African driver Giniel de Villiers has just stormed across the finishing line of the day's special to pick up a superb third place, 5'34" behind the stage winner. Like Roma and Lavieille, there is no CP time for him, meaning his position cannot be confirmed, though this could be due to some technical problems. Watch this space…

The lack of CP timing is rather strange. Is the hardware broken or did a lot of people miss WP4?

Electronic issues might explain the lack of car tracking at wp4.

Looks like RG started without the rear hatch....

Well, at least it looks cool with the rear hatch off.

the roof is gone at this point too. Too many issues with trying to keep it cool.

The next 5' will be critical for any RG news

I am going to assume since the pic does not have them in the sand that this happened near the end of the stage.

that instagram photo from rick was at the beginning of the special
