STAGE 1 TRACKING

STAGE 1: ROSARIO > SAN LUIS

Connection 629km | Special Stage 180km | Total 809km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The competitors will wake up early to set off along the road in the region of Cordoba and start the race on some narrow tracks which will require the utmost vigilance. Each one will still be very fresh allowing them to tackle the stony sections or the blind jumps serenely. The competitors’ driving skills will be rewarded at the finish, where they will have already clocked up 800 kilometres. Although the gaps will not be significant at this stage of the race, it is nevertheless important to maintain their position in the part of the standings that they are aiming for!

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Well here's to hoping they got it fixed at k32

This photo could have been taken on the liason. Not 100% sure that is was taken after the special started,.

What happened to chat?

I see BC in the bg. I would say this is right before the special started. Plus there’s an ASO dude on the hatch….

Cross Prensa showing pic of engine cover off on roadside with text "overheating"

Chats back for now...

Al-Attiya over Peterhansel at the end: 3:34 difference between them

Wow, what happened to Peter ? 3 mins is a long way back.

good, now he knows how it feels

what kind of car is a Haval, fastest time so far, 2:20.36, 4:21 faster than peterhansel

He may have been following a trail of crumbs and sweets through the forest until he got to a big gingerbread house...

Just a quick reminder the HST is a front engine car. I wonder of the ASO clerk was checking iratrakin the rear of the car.
