New site, new luck ?

Well congrats to Robby Gordon for a hell of a race today, finishing 6th and putting himself in a major comfort zone for the top 35. We all know Robby's Uprising was pulled off the air this week and Planet Robby kept the torch lit . Guess the luck has changed, for now! I wouldn't be surprised if Robby's Uprising suddenly re-appears this week since Robby will be a happy camper all week long. So if the Uprising does make it's return, I would think PlanetRobby.com might not be around unitl the next episode of As Robby Turns....lol...Again, thanks to everybody for embracing this site and making it work so quickly.I really appreciate it.

Besides, I heard Robby on the scanner ask Walter to clarify to make sure, how many tires, if any , could go below the line. He did not want any problems, it was clear.

I wish he could run that way every week! I actually paid attention to the entire race and did some yelling. Still wish I knew what the hell happened to RuR. The week it gets yanked, he finishes 6th. And I had no where to go to yak about it until I checked my inbox! I said it in another post, but thanks to Tog for putting this together. I feel like I'm home again..........

No matter IF the Uprising comes back or not! TOG , we want you to keep this site up! RuR abandoned us and you welcomed us with open arms! Thanks!!!! Before you consider to pull the plug IF it comes back, please do a survey and find out what we, the members want! Thanks!!!! IMHO

The way the Uprising site was shut down, made me feel like I did something wrong. Maybe my 'GEM has screwed Robby so many times he should change his name to Erin' comment was too much, I don't know. If that was a problem, that's pretty wimpy for racers. I just didn't see anything that bad going on. I probably won't take much interest in the Uprising site if/when it returns, unless they cover the off-road stuff like they had been doing, which was incredible.

I've had a few days to chew on this and the way RUR ...was taken down was ...fucked up.We were all champions of the cause when we had the whole Rally for Robby....how soon we forget...I really appreciate Tog stepping up and creating this site.If something personal is said that is why we have admin for,as Tog stated in an earlier thread they were diligent in that aspect.PLEASE.........keep this site alive.This is what I consider a Robby move .....fuck the norm...we are not sheep being herded.GAS ON DAMN IT!!!!!!

Absolutely. I remember having 6 computers running 24/7 placing stupid votes for the damn all-star race. Your welcome. I'm a musician, it's a fan-based business also. Dumping something that your fans enjoy is bad business. Fans are ALWAYS a double edged sword. Trying to control which edge you get is not smart. Face it, fans do stupid things sometimes, but sponsors don't really care, as long as the result is more sales. I've always been taught, let your fans do what they want, and be happy you have them. If they want 'Free Bird', then you smile and play goddamn 'Free bird', no matter how much you hate doing it. Lucky for Robby that his fans are so passionate. I'll always be an RG and RGM fan, this is just a ripple in the water - but the way they dumped their devoted Uprising fan base was pretty ball-less. Huevos pequeño.
