With the 2014 Dakar Rally beginning in less than 45 days, here is a brief F.A.Q.

  1. Is Robby Gordon racing in the 2014 Dakar Rally? YES!
  2. What is the car number? 305
  3. What is he driving? A new design - called the HST
  4. Who is the navigator? Kellon Walch
  5. Is there going to be a 2nd car? No
  6. How come we haven't seen pictures of the car yet? It's still being built
  7. When will we see the car? Mid December
  8. Will the race be televised? Yes. NBC Sports Network TAPE DELAY recap show.
  9. How can we follow the rally? You're already at the right place.
  10. When does the rally begin? Stage 1 begins on Jan 5th.

people where doubting just a couple weeks ago that Robby was entering.
people thought the racer was Ford or Dodge power'd?!
people thought there was football sized team of drivers?!
Yes, It was a given to me,but other's, not so much

No reason to speculate. The HST has a Hummer based body with an LS7 engine. The HST is not at the dock in France or in South America, the pictures prove it. The HST will be shipped from somewhere in North America when its ready. There is no rush to get it anywhere. There is no deal with Renault for anything.

Is the trailer hooked to Robby's International the new Grand Design rig?

Who's the gal posing on the purple bike? Is she a racer or just a model? I wonder if that's her picture all over the support rig.

Yes, that is the new trailer from Grand Design.
No idea on who the model is, I'd say no that is not her likeness on the team wraps.Looks like multiple models to me.

General note.TOG. is at the shop in NC.Robby has not allowed for pictures to be released, just that simple.

To me the test mule body work does have similar lines to the graphic and the wide air scoop leads me to believe that it could be part of what they are testing as stated earlier in the post.

So what happened to the team/dude who bought two of the Hummers and trucks? I remember reading not too long ago that they were confirmed for this year's Dakar. A review of the car list shows no sign of them.
