Is there any word from Jim Beam on if they will be back next year or not? Does it depend on being in the top 35 or not? When will there be an announcement?
Come on insiders, let's hear from you. I hope Monster steps up but right now BOTH Red Bull cars are whipping Robby's butt! We gotta go man!

Same here, used to be a Jack man until Robby went to Jim Beam. I've been Beam all the way since. You know, we ought to e-mail Jim Beam and tell them this. Just so they know the impact.
Agreed. Does anybody know any contact info for them?
I posted befor they (JIM BEAM) are on board for 2009 and the contract is being signed or is signed as we speak..It has not been anounced yet for whatever reason but i think the deal is the same as this years as a couple people privy to the info told me...
Yes, Jim Beam has been in the process of signing this deal for three months now.....
you will see...It is a big step these days to throw the amount of money around that is being thrown into this sport. look at all the sponsers jumping ship and everyday. It is gonna happen just be patient than you can go out get you a bottle of beam and hoot and holler all night that our boy just got more sponsership for 2009....
I'm not saying it will or will not happen. I've said all along that they're waiting for a top 35 lock. The notion that it has been "in the works" seems pretty absurd at this point.
Remember that Jim Beam did not announce that they were on board for 2008 until Homestead last year.
Good point that has not been made yet. 11-17-07 to be exact.
While I agree that it's going to be hard to get 43 cars to some of the tracks next year, there are more than enough of the 'field filler' quality teams out there that I don't think that we'll see too many races with under 43. Plus, as more and more teams start to build second and even third generation COT's, I would guess that older COT's would eventually be easier to find on the market. That might mean more low budget teams are able to get COT's and attempt races... And while I hate to think it, with the way Robby qualifies sometimes, it wouldn't completely be out of the realm of possibility for him to get knocked out by one of the shoestring teams if they get in a good lap. I mean, wouldn't it be embrassing for a JB car to get knocked out of the show by an unsponsored Front Row Motorsports team or some other low budget team....
The start of 2005 was MISERABLE...we cannot miss Daytona again...

and I will bet a case of King Tacos that there will be clsoe to 50 cars (if not more) there in February.
