#98 Phil Parsons Racing skips Phoenix: the #98 Phil Parsons Racing Ford entry has withdrawn from the Subway Fresh Fit 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway, per driver Michael McDowell's Twitter: "Unfortunately @PPR98 will not be in Phoenix this weekend. We have fallen behind building new Gen6 cars and will be back on track in Vegas.Only 43 cars entered now, so all will make the race.
per Jayski

I think 43-45 entries is going to be the norm for Cup. What seemed to go unnoticed was the 40 car starting grid for the NNS race at Daytona. The last time the Busch/NNS had a 40 car line-up for Daytona was 1984. I'm curious to see how many trucks show at Martinsville.

NASCRAP announced last year that only 40 cars will start in all races this season in NNS...

Per Planet member Jeb, from the track
Souvy trailer is the first spot next to the track of off turns 1 and 2 outside the entry gate. Perfect spot.

Update, Super cool SST Truck is at the Souvy trailer. Just returned, those things are Badass.

Jeb, take a pic and show us what you see? Be the ball Jeb, be the ball

Got a buddy at the Souvy now, picture on it's way back to camp shortly.
Dave, this may tide you over until SST and Souvy photo is available
