STAGE 14 TRACKING

STAGE 14: LA SERENA > SANTIAGO

Connection 502km | Special Stage 128km | Total 630km

COURSE OVERVIEW

To reach the Chilean capital, the heroes of the 2013 Dakar will still have to remain focused on the amazing fast tracks, where the pleasure of driving will go hand in hand with their sense of accomplishment. After the journey on the road, the drivers will be expected on a show course a few kilometres long, where they will be able to delight spectators by performing skids and jumps. This will be a foretaste of the highly emotional ceremony which will be organised the next day facing the Palacio de La Moneda, on the Plaza de la Constitución.

So what happened to RG in this stage?

Aha. I forgot that I lost a day while shooting a car show. Need sleep.

Thanks for everything TOG, and of course, Robby!

Wish me luck on the salt flats and I'll check in when I can. It was a great event, even with the problems. If it was easy, everybody'd do it. The last 2 years on the salt have sure proved that to me!

He will finish in 6th place in stage 14, first time out of the top 5 since stage 4.

RG Post Stage 14 Quote - " really proud of my team, no mechanical problems and we will be back next year"

I'll be back .. In my best Arnold voice

No kidding. That was my exact thought.

Holy cow..............I was thinking arnold the pig from green acres

robby thanks for everything you fought and gave us everything these days. Adhere to all your comments and finished the stage ... and no doubt that if not for the bad luck we had at first. anyone had overtaken the Hummer and excellence of your management. Only hope that fastpass this year to go to see on the exit ramp in Rosario (Argentina) ... WE WAIT GENIUS!

10th, 11th and 12th place finished within 32 seconds of each other. Amazing when you consider they had over 43 hours of actual race time.

Luis #150 on the 150 hasn't reached WP4. If he comes this close and doesn't finish I'll be heartbroken for him.

Hey! He made WP4. Lost a ton of time between 3 and 4.

Great news

3 hours 45 min I believe he did finish....If I am reading my link correctly
