P.19 so far, that should put him in fair shape to stay on the lead lap.

Robby Gordon (No. 7 Mapei/Menards Dodge Charger) Qualified 22nd

“I have to be honest, I hit the wall in practice and really was a little cautious on that qualifying lap. The car was good; it felt good and fast. I didn’t driver Turn 1 hard enough and was afraid of Turn 2 from the practice incident. One-tenth of a second better and I would probably have a top-10 car to start the race on Sunday. I’m happy. They guys did a good job preparing the car. I’m excited to start 22nd because of where we’ve had to start the last three races (started outside the top 30 because of qualifying being rained out). We’ll wrench on it some more tomorrow and try to get our Dodge faster.”

Was watching PitCommand and wondered what happened on turns 1 and 2. That explains why it looked so screwy. Thanks for posting.

and RG is on the track not showing alot of speed this run. I am guessing still shaking the car down after he introduced himself to the WALL!!

could also have been running on older tires. The set that he ran qualifying in and also i'm sure they put a new set on after he spun.. that set has about 5 laps on it.

I'd be willing to bet that he starts happy hour with new set of tires.

nascar.com tracking shows kurt bush for 1 lap, but no time.. maybe him?

never mind.. kurt shows laps under him now..
